Through unifying the brand and modernizing the museum's physical appearance, the Tybee Island Marine Science Center will be able to enhance its reputation and its reach, both locally and nationally. It is important, however, to maintain the same aesthetic style that is appropriate for the Tybee Island area. The goal is to attract tourists, families, and children through vivid color and playful imagery. The brand must maintain a professional, scientific foundation, in order to trust and confidence in the museum’s mastery of marine biology. By incorporating whimsy of the laid-back lifestyle of the island with a highly structured exterior design, a cohesive and multi-dimensional brand will both contribute to the island as an informational resource and attraction, as well as reflect positively on the ideals of the community that serves and supports the museum.
